When you speak of poems, verses or just literature that moves you to your core, the trailblazer of floral literature comes to mind. The great Rabindranath Tagore, a poet, writer, philosopher and more than what words can describe, was known to draw inspiration from nature for all his work.<\/p>\n

A depiction of that is in his famed poem Flowers, Flower School and many more. And it is this tuneful melody of nature and flowers that have defined literature for time immemorial.<\/p>\n

Rose is love, bluebell is humility, camellia is longing, carnation is mother\u2019s eternal love and so forth. From delicate buds to full bloom to wilting, flowers signify life\u2019s truth from birth to death. And poets catch the beauty of this representation and use it as a metaphor for their poems. Because when these florals remind us of life\u2019s fleeting moments and its rapid pace, we embrace the beautiful moments in the present that make our lives whole.<\/p>\n

Universal and Versatile<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The beauty of flowers transcends all boundaries. And invokes an imagination that is common to one and all. Which is why blooms have often been used to depict instances of world peace, stories of perseverance and inspirational tales of great men. It\u2019s almost as if when you read a line and through, you can conjure up the exact picturesque image that the poet tries to convey. Leaving us with a beautiful message.<\/p>\n
