A union of two souls is surely a misty-eyed moment but who said it can’t be loaded with à la mode? Arpita Mehta and Kunal Rawal’s wedding was nothing short of a dreamy spectacle. A lot like their runway rush, the event was packed with prominent personalities, debonair looks and a radiant vibe.
But for the couple, who were each other’s biggest cheerleaders, their vision for this indelible night was clear from the start. A vast expanse of a green-hued field that dispenses its tranquillity to all.
For us, it was an exclusive opportunity. But since the big day was to be planned and executed within 25 days, we had to step up our game. With clarity and vivid imagination, we set our sights and reshaped a regal space into a sojourn with nature.
Taking inspiration from natural meadows during the rainy season, we curated an ambience that brought along effortless solace. Think unending greens accentuated by shrubs, fresh blossoms and the fragrance of dewy mornings.
Asparagus, typha, local grass and a grass mat coalesced to create lush foliage that provided an au natural vibe and made one feel as if they were floating on a paradisical swathe. Even when the bride walked down, the greens complemented her ivory-hued attire and enhanced that morning glow on her face.
The fresh floral cuts, hydrangea and delphinium, spread aesthetically, along with statement brass props crafted the final look of this awe-inspiring day. And a contemporary touch of banana trunks was simply the joy of joys.
Altogether, every aspect of the wedding played a vital role. The coordinated ivory-golden outfits from their respective labels displayed simplicity, the suave crowd added exuberance and the floral decor whispered of a fairytale love that found its happy ending amidst nature.
