The Moroccan Sundown

Exotic, elegant, luxurious and dramatic all in one go, these were the words that were given as a brief by this couple. And the Moroccan theme clicked right in place! Opulent metallics of gold blended in with colours, fabrics, geometric patterns and lots of flow and freedom between the elements created the rich and inviting setting for the guests. It was going to be an evening of fun, laughter, subdued gossip, a lot of love to be cherished forever. And so, to go with the joyous occasion was the equally vibrant floral décor.  

A harmonious collection of colours implemented through an array of textures weaved into the space through linens, pillows, rugs, wall hangings and accessories are what gave this Moroccan themed event a bold visual impact. The colours inspired from the landscapes of Morocco and intricately designed lamps and furniture turned the afternoon towards a timeless, ornate and a warm sundown set-up. An opulent look was achieved with colours, fabrics, patterns and lots of freedom and flow between pieces. 

Strong colours in an inviting setting had the party feels all the way. The splashes of pink and pops of yellow added to neutral backdrops of white, sand and beige colours were perky and upbeat. Statement centrepieces with abundance of interesting accessories like fruits, trinkets and candles and blending the quintessential spring colours into the Moroccan style was the highlight of this event. Rich orange, red and yellow with accents of blues were the main pantones that were played around with. Abstract geometric patterns in throws, rugs and pillow cases very well complimented the ornate lanterns in rich gold hues. All of this together was a party in itself!
